Today saw the release of SPICE version 0.6.0. According to the announcement, this version comes with new features like offscreen surfaces and WAN mode.

Yesterday saw the release of version 0.5.2 of the SPICE project. The network and PCI ids API are considered unstable with this release since the ABI is still not finalized.

The SPICE project is one step closer for merging with upstream qemu.

Experimental packages for SPICE client and SPICE qemu server are now available through a new repository setup for Fedora users.
