The highly rated Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) of Bombay along with Vmware in association with Netapp recently held a two day conference Convergence 08 on March 15th and 16th focusing on research activities in virtualization. The list of companies present included Intel, Vmware, Qumranet, Symantec, Netapp, NetXen among others.

One of the invited speakers, Amit Shah, is a KVM developer working with the official KVM maintainer, Qumranet.
