Hello Everyone,

We are looking for people's experiences with:

* Motherboard (Chipsets CPUs, BIOS): That support input/output memory management unit (IOMMU). And that are stable.
* PCI Devices (Sound, GPU, Infiniband and Ethernet...): That support Function Level Reset (FLR).

In terms of the interconnects, we are also looking for devices that support Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-I/OV)
What we want to setup, is a VM cluster that uses the inifiniband interconnect to work with RDMA. The two important issues that we would like some clarity on are STONITH, and interconnect support. Also some things to think about when trying setup SR-IOV, and pci pass through.

Also when selecting our hardware for such an architecture, can you please let us know what to keep in mind. What is important for the hardware to support e.g. IOMMU (for CPUs), FLR (for devices). We are looking for devices that are
stable and have been known to work.

Thanks in Advance,

Nick
