Ftp on Windows VMs

Hello,

I have created several virtual machines under KVM on RH Linux 6.0 x64. Some are
Linux, some are Windows.

The Linux ones all work fine. The Windows ones (Windows 2008) seem okay, but I cannot
properly ftp to any remote site.

The systems can download Windows updates, and connect to the remote ftp sites, so the networking obviously is working to some extent. But when I try to list files or transfer a file, the connection just hangs until I kill the program. This seems very similar to a firewall problem, but the firewall is disabled on all the Windows systems, as well as on the Linux system which is hosting KVM.

The Windows KVMs (and also the Linux ones) use DHCP for their network setup. The host KVM system has static IP information.

Can anyone provide any assistance with this?

Thanks,
Nathan

If it's not the firewall, did

If it's not the firewall, did you think for a second it can be the antivirus program who make all this?
