KVM guest using virtual console as a monitor

Hi,

I am trying to configure kvm such that I can boot in to my host and spin up virtual machines from the console where the virtual machines would use vcX as a monitor attached to the machine so that I could run an X instance. I am referring to a monitor as output of the vga card rather than the QEMU machine monitor. Is this possible with KVM?
