KVM, problem with SATA

Hello all,

i have a host that have a sata hdd, when i am installing windows i get a blue screen.

Will i need a windows with sata drivers ? or there is a way to work around this ?

KVM/QEMU creates an emulated

KVM/QEMU creates an emulated IDE driver. Windows will only see IDE, not the host's SATA. If you get a blue screen, you are encountering other issues. What they are, nobody knows since the details posted don't say much.
