Windwows 2003 and 2008 Guests certified to run on RHEL 5.4 KVM

Today Redhat announced commercial support for Windows guests in a continuing effort by both Microsoft and Redhat to improve virtualization interoperability. More specifically Windows Server 2003, 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 guests have been certified to run on RHEL 5.4 KVM. Conversely, RHEL 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4 guests have been certified to run on Microsoft’s Hyper-V hypervisor. By extension, these windows guests should also be supported by the upcoming RHEV product from Redhat since it uses the same codebase.

This is definitely a step forward for Redhat making it now a viable option to enterprises wanting supported windows guest deployment (think Exchange?).
