Where is the monitor console?

I have KVM VM's installed under Fedora 9 and I have been trying to find the monitor console for the VM's. I tried Ctrl-Alt-2 and got the serial console. Then I tried Ctrl-Alt <everykey> and still no monitor console. How do you get to the monitor console in Fedora 9?
